Hiring Dispatcher

Local Petroleum Company looking for a dayshift dispatcher.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Take customer orders by phone and email
• Resolve customer concerns or problems quickly and professionally
• Dispatch deliveries using the most efficient, cost effective, safe and compliant manner
• Manage driver issues including allocation problems, breakdowns and other items promptly
• Manage Bulk Petroleum inventories at the bulk plants and cardlock locations
• Assist management of customer inventories to determine when to send auto fills
• Resolve customer concerns or problems quickly and professionally
• Keep current with driver safety, equipment safety and hazmat regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Great attention to detail and accuracy while meeting stringent deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment handling multiple projects simultaneously while remaining calm and patient
• Excellent phone skills providing services, support or information
• Assuring compliance with laws and company policies and regulations
• Minimum 2 years of trucking and dispatching responsibility
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment handling multiple projects with stringent deadlines simultaneously while remaining calm and patient
• Excellent phone skills providing services, support or information
• Thorough knowledge of various business software applications
• Assuring compliance with laws and company policies and regulations

Schedule/Hours

• Dayshift – Hours TBD upon hire
• Holiday rotation with other dispatchers
• Cross-train to cover for other dispatchers as needed

Compensation based on experience
